Abstract:
This paper focuses on ageing in an environmental context - in inner-cities. Outdoor mobility is a key element for full participation in society. This paper concentrates on outdoor mobility of older adults living in big Czech cities and the time they spend out of their homes. It is based on a survey made in 13 biggest Czech cities and in Prague.

Findings/outcome/conclusion/research questions:
The study show that seniors living in city centres are active users of outdoor urban space. The level of mobility is influenced by age, health condition and cultural capital.
