Abstract:
The extension of active working life for older worker is crucial. Therefore, policies and strategies for active ageing should be directed towards creating an enabling environment for the elderly, inspired by the best practices developed at European level regarding employment. The research investigated the willingness to work of older workers.

Strategies to promote older workers' employment/good practices for active aging and employment policies; an inventory of good practices for active ageing and employment policies, statistical analysis and desk research to assess the potential of employment and health for pensioners in Romania; identification of key issues regarding the employment of older people, legal and institutional barriers, mechanisms of activation of senior workers in the labour market, recommendations, policies and active ageing strategies.

1 study regarding the health and employment of Romanian senior workers and pensioners; 8 active new measures and their financial ex-ante impact assessment
