Abstract:
The aim of this study was to diagnose social activity and civic participation among residents of Bialystok and on the basis of diagnosis to develop recommendations. In field studies we used both quantitative methods and qualitative, using triangulation of techniques and data. In addition, desk research was included, in which regional and municipal strategic documents have been analyzed as well as studies on the elderly in Bialystok and Podlaskie region.
