Abstract:

To create EU postgraduate course interdisciplinary in nature, to make a direct contribution to sustainable rural development by creating the occupation of rural animator, involving the necessity of education, to consolidate this profession.

Target group: Graduates in humanities and social sciences, agronomy, land use planning who completed a first degree and are willing to work in rural areas.

Educational curriculum on EU level. Period of data collection 2009- 2012.

Findings/outcome/conclusion/research questions:

The courses were written in agriculture, community development and welfare, environmental planning, cultural development, rural tourism, education. Transferability: for all countries who were taking part.
